AJK Calls For Immediate Release Of Yaseen Malik And Other Jailed Hurriyat Leaders In IOK, India

MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2019 ) : Apr 22 (APP):Mass protest demonstration followed by a big rally was held in AJK's metropolis on Monday under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir against the imprisonments of Hurriyat leadership and several other innocent Kashmiris with call for immediate unconditional release of all innocent detainees including the ailing freedom fighter Yasin Malik from Indian jails including in Indian occupied Kashmir.
The protestants were holding banners and placards demanding the immediate release of Hurriyat leadership and other Kashmiri prisoners in several Indian jails. They marched from Central Press Club to Burhan Wani Chowk.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said India use NIA as a weapon against the people of Kashmir. "Basic human rights are violated in every nook and corner of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir" Ghazali maintained.
He said the Kashmiris remained victims of draconian laws like POTA, TADA and AFASPA, "this is nonetheless but state terrorism of India on innocent Kashmiri people." Uzair denounced the imprisonments of Hurriyat leadership, saying that hundreds of people were suffering Indian torture in jails including their leadership which was a question mark on so called Indian democracy.
Sickness of Yaseen Malik and other prisoners had made the masses curious about the health of their leadership.
He demanded the United Nations to release Kashmiri prisoner from Indian jails, "global community should understand the worsening situation in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and must play their role to solve Kashmir issue before long," he added.
Vice Chairman International forum for justice and Human rights Mushtaq ul islam said Human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir may jeopardize the peaceful situation in the region, "Yaseen Malik and other Kashmiri prisoners are suffering brutal torture and international community must intervene to stop these violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir," he said.
Yousuf Butt on the occasion said India should release all the prisoners and she must understand that Kashmir was not a part of India and salute the unflinching struggle of the people of Kashmir for freedom movement.
Abdul Aziz Alvi said the biased behavior of International community have given the open permission to India for usurpation the basic rights of the Kashmiris. He also demanded government of Pakistan to play its role to save its jugular vein.
Khalid Mahmood Zaidi, Usman Ali Hashim, Syed Hamza Shaheen, Shaukat Javed, Sarandaz Butt, Mufti Imran and other also addressed the rally.
