All preparations for Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) celebrations completed in KP

All preparations to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW), the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with immense respect and religious enthusiasm on Wednesday completed in Khyber Pakthunkhwa where all main buildings and historic sites have been artistically illuminated in the province.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) :All preparations to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW), the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with immense respect and religious enthusiasm on Wednesday completed in Khyber Pakthunkhwa where all main buildings and historic sites have been artistically illuminated in the province.

Like elsewhere of the country, the day would be celebrated across the province including the recently merged tribal districts of erstwhile FATA with immense respect and religious enthusiasm on Wednesday (Nov 21).

The day will dawn with special prayers in mosques for progress and prosperity of the country and entire Muslim Ummah.

KP Govt has declared public holiday on Nov 21 (Wednesday) in connection with 12 Rabiul Awal celebrations.

In Peshawar, the main procession would be taken out from Milad Chowk Rampura Gate under aegis of Idara Tableeg e islam led by Syed Asad Ali Shah on Wednesday (Nov 21) where people of all walk of life including religious scholars would present glowing tributes to the matchless services of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for the mankind.

Another major function would also be held at Gul Bahar Peshawar to be organized by Syed Inayat Ali Shah on Wednesday where people would offer Naat and Darood Sharif to express their immeasurable love with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The residents of Peshawar illuminated their houses, bungalows, bazaars, markets, mosques and offices with colorful buntings, lights and green flags to show their immeasurable love with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on occasion of 12th Rabi ul Awwal.

Large banners and gigantic billboards were displayed across the Peshawar by people, faithful and religious scholars in connection with Eid Milad unNabi (SAW) celebrations .

The government, semi govt organizations, educational institutes, social and religious organizations have planned special programmes and other activities on occasion of 12th Rabi ul Awwal.

They finalized different programmes of holding Naat and Darood-o-Salam competitions.

The owners of buses, trucks, taxis , and motorcycles decorated their vehicles artistically to pay great homage to Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The Ulema and religious scholars have been invited to various programmes in villages, towns and cities on 12th of Rabi ul Awwal to inform and educate children about teaching of the last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and highlighting His matchless services for humanity.

Naat Khawani, declamation contests in Govt and private schools are being held across the province.

In this connection, a Naat competition in urdu and Pashto languages among students of Islamia College University was held here under the aegis of Khyber Islamic Culture Society.

The Urdu Naat competition was contested by 46 Naat Khwans while the Pashto Naat competition was held among 15 students.

Renowned Naat Khawan Arbab Zafrullah was the chief guest on this occasion while the event was presided over by Dr Hussain Farooq. Dr Abaseen Yousufzai was also present as the guest of honor.

The Urdu Naat competition was won by Abid Iqbal, followed by Ataullah Shah second and Ammad Ali stood at third position.

Abu Talha obtained first position in Pashto Naat completion while Fatima Shah and Zakirullah stood at second and third position respectively.

Special functions were also planned and processions would be taken out in all major cities and towns of the province whereas all routes of processions are being illuminated and decorated with colorful lights and flags in connection with the 12th Rabi ul Awwal.

The vendors have established a number of stalls at every nook and corner of the province besides processions routes in Peshawar and are offering banners, badges, stickers and flags to people.

The people are also distributing sweets besides gifts among relatives, poor and needy masses in connection with the great day.
