An amount of Rs. 18.73 billion disbursed under Prime Minister's Youth Business Loan Scheme during last four years, recovery rate 91 per cent
ISLAMABAD Sept 14 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Sep, 2017 ) :An amount of Rs. 18.73 billion disbursed under Prime Minister's Youth Business Loan Scheme during last four years, recovery rate 91 per cent.
According to the official data the scheme was planned to provide business solution for small business enterprises addressing financial requirements for business purpose which includes setting up of new business or expansion of existing business.
The scheme was specially focused on the unemployed youth, especially educated youth looking for establishing or extending business enterprises. 50 % quota was allocated for women borrowers under the scheme.
The scheme was an initiative by the government for small businesses particularly unemployed educated youth for establishing business enterprises thereby promoting entrepreneurship and reducing unemployment and poverty.
