Atif Khan Inaugurates Mardan Ring Road

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Nov, 2018 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Senior Minister for Tourism, sports Culture Muhammad Atif Khan Wednesday inaugurated 33.40 kilometer long Mardan Ring Road, which has been completed at the cost of Rs1137 million.
Members of the National Assembly Mujahid Khan and KP Assembly members Iftikhar Mashwani, Zahir Shah Toru, Abdus Salam Afrid, Malik Shaukat, Ameer Farzand Khan, Tufail Anjum, and local people attended the ceremony.
The senior minister, in his address, said the success of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) with a thumping majority in the assembly for the second consecutive term in the July 2018 election spoke volumes of its last government's performance which served the masses.
But those, who betrayed the people, were always rejected at the hustings, he added.
The minister said from the day one the PTI government had been making efforts to provide all basic amenities of life to the people at their doorsteps. That was why the KP people had re-elected the PTI, which was a record in the parliamentary history of the province, he added.
He said traditional politics had been abolished in KP as its people had expressed confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was not only striving to end sense of deprivation of the KP people, but those of the rest of country also.
He said work on mega development schemes like construction of major roads, bridges, children hospital, cadet college and up-gradation of basic health units was underway in Mardan district.
