Central Procession Of Hussainia Hall's Imambargh Peacefully Culminates In Peshawar

The main 'Alm and Zuljinnah' mourning procession of the 9th Moharramul Haram, which was taken out from Imambargah Hussainia Hall on Thursday morning here, was peacefully culminated at afternoon amid tight security arrangements.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2018 ) :The main 'Alm and Zuljinnah' mourning procession of the 9th Moharramul Haram, which was taken out from Imambargah Hussainia Hall on Thursday morning here, was peacefully culminated at afternoon amid tight security arrangements.

Thousands of Azadars and mourners reciting 'Nauhas' to pay glowing tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and others martyrs of Karbala, passed through prescribed routes amid flagellations and chest beating. Later, the processions peacefully culminated at same Imambargah.

Azadars passed through specified routes including Saddar Road, Kalabari, Fawwara Chowk and later reassembled in the same Imam bargah on Thursday afternoon. Water and milk tanks (Sabeel) had been arranged across the route of the procession.

The religious scholars delivered special sermons on an importance of the 9th Muharram and matchless sacrifice offered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and other martyrs of Karbala for supremacy of divine religion of islam.

They said Hazrat Imam-e-Hussain (RA) had laid down life for a noble cause and his thoughts, teachings and principles are the beacon light for mankind.

The religious scholars said Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and honourable members of his family had laid down lives at sizzling heat at Karbala to defend and uphold glory of the great divine religion of Islam.

They said great responsibilities are rest on shoulders of Ulema, Masaikh and religious scholars to play their due role for promoting peace, brotherhood, politeness and tolerance in the society.

Heavy contingent of police, FC and other law enforcing agencies escorted the procession. The doctors, paramedical staff and ambulance service besides Rescue 1122 staffers accompanied with Azadars while TMA'sofficials provided water to mourners.
