CM KP directs to reconstitute BoGs of Bannu,  DI Khan hostels

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2018 ) :Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Justice Retd. Dost Muhammad Khan has directed to reconstitute the board of Governors of Bannu and D.I.Khan Medical Teaching Institutes.

He issued these directives in a meeting with Col. Wahidullah, Chairman of Board of Governors Medical Teaching Institute here at Chief Minister Secretariat on Sunday.

He was informed about the problems of Medical Teaching Institute Bannu.

Dost Muhammad Khan directed to resolve the issue of Board of Directors of Bannu Medical Teaching Institute without any delay. He said that the decision of superior judiciary should be implemented in letter and spirit for the dissolution of Board of Directors of Medical Teaching Institute and its reconstitution as per the verdict of the judiciary.

He took notice of the delay of completion of work of Khalifa Gul Nawaz Medical College Bannu and directed the relevant officers to examine the construction of the project and submit a report within a week.

He also took notice of the faulty chairlift in Bannu hospital and directed the relevant officer to identify the responsible persons.

Caretaker Chief Minister stressed to implement the decision of Peshawar High Court in purchasing and installing of medical equipments for the hospitals in which the Hon'ble Court had directed to sign formal agreement and clarify conditions of guarantee and warrantee by the guarantor.He said utilisation of public resources on welfare of the poor patients must be ensured.

Dost Muhammad Khan also directed to resolve the issue of release of fund for Khalifa Gul Nawaz Hospital.During discussion over the facilities of treatment in the districts headquarters hospitals he stated to have already issued instructions against unnecessary referral.

He said that if the treatment of a disease is possible at DHQ level then patients should not be referred to other hospitals which causes unnecessary difficulties for them and also overburden the big hospitals.
