LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -5th Sep,2016) : Additional District and Sessions Judge (AD&SJ) Ghulam Abbas Sial on Monday reserved verdict on a plea filed by singer Humaira Arshad for custody of her six-year-old son.
Earlier, Humaira's counsel submitted that as per law, the custody of minor should be handed over to his client as she could look after the minor better as a mother.
He said that Ahmad Butt, ex-husband of Humaira, misled the guardian court and got orders for custody of the son whereas he could not approach the guardian court under the law.
The court after hearing arguments reserved the verdict which is expected to be announced on Tuesday (Sept 6). On the last hearing, Ahmad Butt's counsel had argued that his client had already approached the guardian court which allowed him to keep the minor in his custody. He contended that the court could not pass any further order in the presence of guardian court orders.
