Covid-19 Claims 2 Lives, 77 New Cases Reported

Coronavirus has claimed two more lives from Rawalpindi district in the last 24 hours while 77 new patients with 67 belonged to Rawalpindi and 10 from other districts have been reported positive for the infection
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2021 ) :Coronavirus has claimed two more lives from Rawalpindi district in the last 24 hours while 77 new patients with 67 belonged to Rawalpindi and 10 from other districts have been reported positive for the infection.
According to the daily situation report issued by the District Corona Management centre on Wednesday, among the new cases,13 belonged to Rawal Town,11 from Potohar town,12 from Rawalpindi Cantt,11 from Kahutta, Nine from Taxila, eight from Kalar Syeda, four from Islamabad, three from Chakwal, two each from Gujar Khan and Jehlum and one each from Murree and Lahore.
"Presently 10 Coronavirus confirmed patients were admitted in Holy Family Hospital, 46 in Benazir Bhutto Hospital, 41 in Institute of Urology,14 in Fauji Foundation Hospital, four each in District Headquarter hospital and Bilal hospital while one each was admitted in Hearts international hospital and Akhtar Memorial Trust.
"The report updated that six patients were on ventilators in critical condition,61 stable and 54 on oxygen support. As many as 2,528,519 people including 41,658 health workers and 2,486,561 other citizens aged above 18 years have jabbed themselves so far against the coronavirus while the positivity ratio during the past 24 hours was recorded at 5.16 per cent in the district, it added.
Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Saddar in its ongoing drive against violation of Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) sealed three restaurants and imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on different shopkeepers.
