Crackdown against fancy, fake number plates in Sukkur launched

Sukkur Motorway Police (SMP) Wednesday launched a massive crackdown on fancy, fake, illegal number plates and unregistered vehicles to make the citizens abide by law

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2019 ) :Sukkur Motorway Police (SMP) Wednesday launched a massive crackdown on fancy, fake, illegal number plates and unregistered vehicles to make the citizens abide by law.

The crackdown had been started on the directives of the Inspector General of Motorway Police, according to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ghulam Sarwar Bhayo.

He said that illegal number plates were not only a violation of the motor vehicle rules but also incurred a huge loss to the national exchequer.
