DBA Elections On January 12

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Dec, 2018 ) ::The annual general elections of District Bar Association (DBA) Faisalabad for the year 2019 will be held here on January 12, 2019 (Saturday).

According to DBA spokesman, the process of receiving nomination papers for the slot of president, vice president, general secretary and other offices will be started from December 22 and the candidates can submit their nomination papers up to December 25, 2018.

He said that objections against nomination papers can be filed on December 26, whereas scrutiny of papers would be held on December 27.

Candidates can withdraw their papers by December 29, whereas, final list of the contesting candidates would be displayed on January 5, 2019 and polling will be held on Saturday (January 12, 2019).

An election board has also been constituted to hold DBA Elections in a free, fair and transparent manner. The election board is comprising its chairman Mirza Muhammad Amin Mughal and members Chaudhary Muhammad Mazhar Iqbal Sindhu and Rana Shafqat Alam, DBA spokesman added.
