Deputy Commissioner Umerkot Pays Visit To Review Arrangements At Imambargahs, Masajids

The Deputy Commissioner Tahir Hussain Sangi along with Senior Superintendent of Police Cap. (r) Ameer Saud Magsi on Tuesday visited different Imambarghs and Masajids of various localities of the district to review arrangements during Muharram-ul-Haram.
UMERKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :The Deputy Commissioner Tahir Hussain Sangi along with Senior Superintendent of Police Cap. (r) Ameer Saud Magsi on Tuesday visited different Imambarghs and Masajids of various localities of the district to review arrangements during Muharram-ul-Haram.
According to hand out issued here Tuesday, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed cleanliness and security arrangements made by the administration on the designated routes for mourning processions and directed the managements of different imambargahs and majalis to cooperate with the local administration and implement code of conduct. He urged them to foster unity, cohesion and brotherhood among the people belonging to different sects during Muharram.
The Deputy Commissioner assured that all possible measure would be taken to provide facilities to the mourners during Ashura days and strict security arrangements would be made to cope with any untoward incident. He directed the volunteers to discharge their duties with dedication to facilitate the mourners during mourning processions and majalis.
Senior Superintendent of Police Cap. (r) Ameer Saud Magsi said that code of conduct would be implemented at any cost and action would be taken against the violators.
The In-charge DIB, representatives of Municipal Committee, Imambarghas administration and others officials were also present on the occasion.
