ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jan, 2020 ):Chairman Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Dr. Ikram Ali Malik's Research Paper titled "An Evaluation, Assortment, and Optimization of the Question Items", published online by renowned journal Education and Urban Society, received acknowledgment by international experts.
The article was published with impact factor of 0.91 by the United States (US) based magazine after its thorough examination by a board of experts that continued for one year, making a history as no FBISE Chairman could get this honor before.
In fact this is first ever research publication of Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) based on Desk and Field Work of two-year work regarding establishment of Question Bank at FBISE.

Thus, it can be well imagined that what should be fitness level of question papers when items of a test are written by single person and administered directly without any review and moderation.
Constraint of the study was relatively smaller sample size of examinees, suggesting further investigation to study mutual coherence by using larger sample sizes of the examinees.
The Method used in the study was aimed to assort question items for future use, revision, or to discard from among pre-written MCQs for selected subjects using various statistical measures.
It is worth mentioning here that Education and Urban Society (EUS) is the preeminent for communicating new ideas on educational processes, controversies, research, and policy.
