Four Held For Snatching Valuables At Gun Point

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2017 ) : Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad Police has arrested four persons involved in snatching cash, jewelry, mobile phones s from people at gun point and recovered valuables from them, a police spokesman said.

Following few complaints of road dacoities at gun point, SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani directed SP (Investigation) Zeeshan Haider to ensure arrest of the criminals. He constituted a special team headed by DSP Ashraf Shah which included ASI Haider Ali Shah, Sar Gul and others.

This team worked hard and succeeded to arrest four dacoits identified as Ume Riaz, Nauman Khalid, Waqar and Asif. They confessed their involvement in several dacoity incidents in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamababd � while police recovered gold ornaments, cash and mobiles from them. APP/muk/rn
