Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan on Wednesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s all members valued the sovereignty of the national institutions and their orders
Talking to a private news channel, he said that incumbent government did not interfere in the matters of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Supreme Court to function them autonomously, as this government believed in the accountability.
"Government was criticized by the opposition leaders for the arrest and punishment of corrupt leaders but it was compelled to follow the orders of courts as in the last forty years, former governments looted national kitty, stashed money to the foreign countries and purchased properties with the public wealth",he said.
He further said "we have to apprehend the national looters and eliminate the corruption from the politics as in PTI's government NAB and courts will work more efficiently and all who would be found guilty would face the accountability".
Replying to a question he said ,"it is shocking that Hamza Shahbaz appreciated the Lahore High Court's verdict while he had been opposing the courts' verdicts previously".
