ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Oct, 2016 ) : Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Chaudhry Barjees Tahir Monday said it was the top priority of the government to provide protection to national institutions and security to citizens of the country.
He said the government would not allow any one to lock down the capital, disturb the routine activities of general public and would ensure writ of the state at every cost, said a press release issued here.
He said Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan should come forward and ensure that his party workers gather at the designated venue and not create any law and order situation, disturbing routine life of the citizens.
The minister said the government would facilitate PTI in holding the public meeting at the allocated 'Democracy Park and Speech Corner', for which a clear assurance from PTI was required. He said the nation has rejected Imran Khan's sit-in and protest politics in the country and now he should avoid the way toward destabilization of the country.
The minister said the Federal government was formed with the support of whole nation in 2013 and it will complete its constitutional tenure of five years.
