Heavy rain in city, more likely

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Augst,2016) : Heavy rain in the provincial capital turned the weather pleasant on Wednesday. According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) spokesman,isolated heavy falls occurred at a number of places in the province including Lahore,Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions.

He said that more rain-thunderstorm is likely in most parts of the province during Thursday and Friday.Heavy downpour may trigger flash flood and landslides in the vulnerable areas of Punjab.

All the concerned authorities dealing with emergency situations have been advised to remain alert during the period,particularly on Wednesday and Thursday,it was learnt.
