ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Oct, 2016 ) : Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Saturday said it was the responsibility of the government to establish its writ and rule of law.
He said the government was committed to protect basic rights of the citizens and no noe would be allowed to violate law and create anarchy in the country. Talking to ptv, Khaqan Abbasi said holding peaceful protest was right of every political party.

The PTI chief Imran Khan, he alleged, was using derogatory language against his political opponents like US presidential candidate Donald Trump.
He said Imran Khan was well aware of his diminishing popularity due to his wrong policies and looming defeat in 2018 general election.
He said the PTI leader was wasting his energy in 'politics of protests' and suggested him to focus on the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where his party was enjoying the power. Replying to a question, he said every democratic government should complete its constitutional tenure and other parties should wait for next general election.
Commenting on the Panama papers issue, he said the government was committed from the day one to probe the matter. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had addressed the nation and presented himself for accountability, he added. Panama Papers issue was sub judice and the government would accept the decision of apex court, he said.
