KOHAT District Development Advisory Committee (CDDAC) approves Rs 600 million worth development projects

District Development Advisory Committee (CDDAC) on Friday proved dozens of development projects worth Rs 600 for different sectors of the district for the year 2018-19

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2019 ) :District Development Advisory Committee (CDDAC) on Friday proved dozens of development projects worth Rs 600 for different sectors of the district for the year 2018-19.

The committee under the chairmanship of Ziaullah Bangash who also held the office of provincial education adviser, directed concerned officials to present PC-I for the saving amounts' projects in the next meeting.

The meeting was attended by District Nazim Muhammad Naseem Afridi, Finance and Planning Officer Samur Rheman and officials concerned departments.

The committee approved grant sector wise to each project along with setting a deadline for completion. Low gas pressure for domestic consumers and closure of CNG stations in peak hours also came under consideration.

A 10-member committee was constituted comprising district administration, SNGPL officials and technical experts to work out a viable solution for resolving the issue permanently.

The committee also directed the PESCO to provide power supply to newly built tube wells in 15 days.

The chairman said Kohat beautification project was in pipeline and directed the concerned officials to get prepared for its implementation.

He also informed that KP fruit for all projects would also extended to Kohat district and added that governor was expected to launch the project.

He said tax payers' money would be utilized judiciously and transparently and added that all the development projects would be completed within scheduled timeframe.

He said no compromise would be made on quality of work on those projects which would usher in socio-economic development of the district.
