Lack Of Coordination: Punjab CM, Secretary Appoint Different Persons For Same Post

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th April, 2019) Reports of lack of coordination between Punjab government and bureaucracy have surfaced.

According to details, two heads of a single department were appointd in the same day.

Punjab chief minister and Punjab secretary appointed their separate chairmen of Technical education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA).

Punjab CM Usman Buzdar appointed Farhat Abbas while Chief Secretary has appointed Tahir Khursheed as TEVTA chairman.

Previously, there was no chairman of TEVTA for six to seven months.

However, on Friday, two different persons were appointed as TEVTA chairman.

This proves a lack of coordination between Punjab government and Punjab bureaucracy.

A major reshuffle in Punjab’s cabinet and bureaucracy is on cards, say reports.

The decision in this regard is expected in the next couple of days and move is being made in connection of improving performance of Punjab government.

It is stated that various departments have compiled the report about the performance of the minister and sent it to the Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The PM, added the report, is expected to announce the reshuffle in the provincial cabinet and removed different ministers from their posts.

Similarly, the Punjab bureaucracy will also witness a major reshuffle. The transfer and posting of chief secretary, four secretaries, 11 deputy commissioners and 31 assistance commissioners are expected in the next few days.
