Lok Virsa To Screen Film 'Mutthi Bhar Chawal' On Nov 26

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Nov, 2016 ) : Lok Virsa Mandwa Film Club would organize screening of classic old movie 'Mutthi Bhar Chawal' on November 26 at Lok Virsa Media Center.

Renowned Filmmaker, Director and Actor Sangeeta will be the special guest on the occasion. The 1978 film Muthi Bhar Chawal was a huge success of Sangeeta.

The film cast included Sangeeta, Ghulam Mohyedin, Nadeem, Kavita, Saqi, Romana, Rahat Kazmi and music composed by Kamal Ahmed.

Sangeeta's real name was Perveen Rizvi, but later changed to Sangeeta. Sangeeta directed her debute film in 1979, Society Girl. That also marked the debut of Syed Noor, as scriptwriter and later he became director.

The film was a huge success at the box-office. Her second film as director was 'Mujhay galay laga lo,' which was also a success, starring, Sangeeta, Kavita, Ghulam Mohyedin, Nayyar Sultana, Bahar.
