MMA Announces Candidates For 7 Constituencies Of Hyderabad

The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Hyderabad chapter has announced its candidates for 2 of the 3 seats of National Assembly and 5 of the 6 seats of Sindh Assembly in the district.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2018 ) :The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Hyderabad chapter has announced its candidates for 2 of the 3 seats of National Assembly and 5 of the 6 seats of Sindh Assembly in the district.
Addressing a press conference at Hyderabad Press Club on Thursday, MMA Hyderabad's Ameer Hafiz Tahir Majeed told that he would contest from NA 226 and Karamat Ali Rajput from NA 227 constituencies. Similarly, the MMA had given tickets to Muhammad Azam Jehangiri, Asif Raza Khoso, Dr Saifur Rehman, Abdul Waheed Qureshi and advocate Syed Farhad Ali for PS 62, PS 63, PS 64, PS 66 and PS 67 Constituencies respectively.
Majeed said the citizens of Hyderabad elected their representatives from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the past elections. However, he added that the elected representatives from those parties failed to serve interests of the city which was also denied its due share in development.He said from water supply to sanitation to development of infrastructure and provision of health and education facilities Hyderabad lagged behind in every sphere.
Majeed pledged that if the citizens elected MMA's candidates the party would transform the district.
