Pakistan Day Celebrations: Quetta Youth Prepares 300-metre Long Pakistani Flag

Just like all of Pakistan, the day was celebrated with traditional zeal and fervour in Quetta as well.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd March, 2019) Pakistani youngsters have prepared a 300-metre long Pakistani flag to express their patriotism on Pakistan Day.
Just like all of Pakistan, the day was celebrated with traditional zeal and fervour in Quetta as well.
The Baloch Unity of Quetta carried out a rally to mark Pakistan Day. The youth prepared a 300-metre long Pakistani flag to express their love for the country.
The rally was attended by people from all areas of Quetta.
The nation is celebrating Pakistan Day today with a commitment to ensure progress, prosperity and a strong defense of the country.
The day holds special importance in the living history of Pakistan.
The day is observed on March 23 every year to commemorate the passage of Lahore Resolution on this day in 1940 when the Muslims of the Sub-continent set the agenda of a separate homeland for themselves.
Just as the whole nation is celebrating Pakistan Day, people from all walks of life are expressing their patriotism on the occasion.
The day was dawned with 31-gun salute in the Federal Capital and 21-gun salute in provincial capitals.
Special prayers were offered in mosques after Fajr prayers for the progress and prosperity of the country. National flag was hoisted on all major government buildings.
A grand military parade was held in Islamabad where contingents of the three armed forces and the security forces conducted march past.
Various aeroplanes belonging to Army Aviation and Pakistan Air Force demonstrated aerobatic feats for the audience.
Similarly, combat and attack helicopters as well as skydivers of airborne units from the three armed forces showcased their skills.
The parade also showcased cultures of all the four provinces. Cultural delegates and floats from Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir were featured during the ceremony.
