Passenger Held With Narcotics At Multan International Airport

Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a passenger for concealing drugs in his bag at Multan International Airport (MIAP) on Sunday night.

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a passenger for concealing drugs in his bag at Multan International Airport (MIAP) on Sunday night.

An official source told APP that a passenger Fayyaz Hussain Shah, resident of Lodhran district, s/o Ghulam Nabi Shah was bound to Jeddah from Multan when during checking, 900 grams Amphetamine (ICE), a narcotics was found concealed in his bag.

An FIR was registered against the accused.

ICE is a drug costlier than Heroin and is sold at around 12 lac per kg, the source disclosed. It is also known as crystal meth and its usage could cause mental and physical damage while the user may initially experience short-term energy, euphoria and alertness but taking it in high doses leads to aggressive behaviour and psychosis.
