Pindi Police Arrest Rape Case Accused From Lahore

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2021 ) :Race Course Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested the accused allegedly involved in rape case of woman here in a local hotel.

According to a police spokesman, Race Course police on application of the victim registered a case and arrested the accused from Lahore.

The accused namely Asif trapped the victim while offering her an employment opportunity in Rawalpindi and called her from Lahore. He rapped the woman in a local hotel and fled to Lahore.

Race Course police took immediate action and managed to net the accused within 24 hours.

Superintendent of Police, Potohar informed that the victim had undergone a medical examination and the accused would be challaned with solid evidence.

CPO, Rawalpindi, Muhammad Ahsan Younis said that abuse and violence against women and children is intolerable and Rawalpindi Police take immediate action and provide all possible relief to the victims.
