PML-N MPAs Protest Against Inflation

The lawmakers staged protest demonstration at chairs of Punjab Assembly building and raise slogans against the government
LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 22nd April 2019) PML-N MPAs have staged a protest demonstration against inflation at chairs of Punjab Assembly building.
The protestors include women legislators who chanted full-throat slogans against rinsing prices of basic utility items.
They said the prices of flour, sugar, vegetables, the electricity went higher from the reach of common public and the government was doing nothing to address the issue.
They were of the view that prices would go further up due to proposed conditions set by the IMF.
The PML-N, they said, would resist the government moves to increase prices of gas and electricity and could launch a movement against it.
The PML-N MPA Azma Bokhari was chanting slogans against the government and in a slip of tongue, she chanted ‘Go Nawaz Go’ which immediately got the attention of the media persons covering the event.
