ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2018 ) :Federal Minister for Education, Engineer Baligh ur Rehman on Tuesday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), would have overwhelming response of people in upcoming general election due to performance, delivery and development works.
The people would not vote to the political party leaders who could not produce results in their Constituencies while running the government after 2013 elections, he said while talking to a news channel.
The PML-N government had made drastic changes in education, energy sectors besides overcoming extremism and terrorism. The minister said that present government had brought improvement in GDP growth rate.
He said that 10,000 megawatt electricity had been added to national grid to end loadshedding. To a question about Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's 100 days plan, he said the provincial government could not perform well in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa areas.
The PTI should show 300 dams and one billion trees to the people of KP, he added. The PML-N government had made progress in Neelum-Jhelum and Nandipur power plants while no progress could be made in Diamer-Bhasha dam project during the regime of Musharraf, he said.
Lamenting over the attitude of PTI, he said that PTI had wasted the time on allegations, rigged election, sit-ins rather working on development programmes.
