Preparation To Celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) In Full Swing

PESHAWAR Dec 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Dec, 2016 ) : With sighting of Rabiul Awal's moon, preparations have gained momentum to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Khyber Pakthunkhwa and FATA with great respect and religious enthusiasm on December 12.
The residents of Peshawar started decorating and illuminating their houses and bungalows besides bazaars and offices with colorful buntings, lights and green flags to show their immense and immeasurable respect and love with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on His birth anniversary.
In Peshawar, large banners and gigantic billboards are being displayed across the city by people to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with religious enthusiasm.
Like other years, the government, educational institutes, social and religious organizations have planned special programs and a number of other activities on occasion of 12th Rabiul Awal. Social, cultural, educational institutions and religious organisations have finalised programmes of holding Naat competitions and Darood-o-Salam sittings in connection with the holy day.
The people have started decoration of mosques, buildings, streets and homes with colourful lights, flags, buntings and banners to observe the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with religious enthusiasm.
The owners of buses, trucks, taxi cars, and motorcycles are seen decorated their vehicles artistically to pay homage to the last Prophet (SAW) of Allah Almighty. The Ulema and religious scholars have been invited to various programmes to be held in the city on 12th of Rabi ul Awal to educate the young generation about teaching of last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and highlight His (SAWW) supreme and matchless services for humanity.
Naat Khawani, declamation contests and processions have been planned in Peshawar and all major cities and towns of KP and Fata to express devotion and pay tributes to Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Special functions are also planned and processions will be taken out in all major cities and towns of the country whereas routes of processions are being illuminated and decorated with colorful lights and flags in connection with the day.
The vendors have established a number of stalls at every nook and corner of Peshawar besides procession routes, offering banners, badges, stickers and flags inscribed with slogans paying respect and reverence to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). APP/fam/mdi
