Prices Of Fruits, Vegetables Remain Stable

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jan, 2017 ) : The prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the Federal capital here on Friday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week. According to price list, potato sold at Rs 24 per kilogram, Onion Rs 28, Tomato Rs 28, Ginger Rs 100, Garlic (China) Rs 285, Garlic Local 335, Lemon Rs 55, Lady Finger Rs 115, Pumpkin Rs 56, Brinjal Rs 45, Peas Rs 45, Fresh Bean Rs 40, Tinda Walaiti (Imported gourd small) Rs 45, Cucumber Rs 48, Capsicum Rs 65, Green Chilli Rs 45, Cauliflower Rs 24, Cabbage Rs 27, Bitter Gourd Rs 85, Spinach Rs 12, Radish Rs 17, Turnip Rs 23, Yam Rs 75, Maroo Rs 30, Carrot Rs 24, Chicken Rs 112 and Egg per dozen Rs 121.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 118/90, Apple Golden Rs 88/55, Apple White Rs 72/50, Apple China Rs 162/125, Banana Pak Rs 70/45, Grapes Toffee Rs 145/125, Guava 55/40, P1omegranate Rs 184/160, Musumi Rs 130/100, Shakri Rs 140/110, Kino Rs 54/40, Fruiter Rs 90/72, Pear China Rs 165/140.
The people are asked to ensure that they are sold vegetables and fruits as per rate list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
