Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a high level meeting here on Monday to discuss issues related to Maritime Affairs

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jan, 2019 ) :Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a high level meeting here on Monday to discuss issues related to Maritime Affairs. Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak, Minister for Defence Production Ms Zubaida Jalal, Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi and senior officers were present during the meeting.

Maritime potential of the country and related issues came under discussion.

Inter-ministerial committee comprising of senior representatives from the concerned ministries and Naval Headquarters was constituted under Minister for Maritime Affairs to propose reforms in the Maritime Sector.
