The profile of 11 Provincial Ministers, who took oath of their offices during an impressive ceremony at Governor House here Wednesday from Acting Governor KP Mushtaq Ghani, was explained below.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Aug, 2018 ) :The profile of 11 Provincial Ministers, who took oath of their offices during an impressive ceremony at Governor House here Wednesday from Acting Governor KP Mushtaq Ghani, was explained below.

Senior Minister Atif Khan, who was awarded portfolio of Tourism Department, was elected twice MPA, the last time from PK-50 from Mardan in 2018 general elections. In previous PTI Govt, Atif Khan had served as Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, Energy and Power Departments and earned respect after he brought massive reforms in education sector by establishing the first ever Cadet College for Girls in Mardan besides providing massive funds for provision of missing facilities to public sector schools. He directly supervised pace of work on 256 micro hydro power stations in Khyber Pakthunkhwa.

Provincial Minister for Agriculture Mohibullah Khan has been elected as Member of Provincial Assembly from PK-8 Swat for the second time. He was born in Swat on 20th December 1968. Mohibullah Khan had served as Special Assistant Livestock in the cabinet of former CM Pervez Khattak and introduced special projects and increased budget of the Department significantly.

Provincial Minister Qalandar Khan Lodhi was again awarded portfolio of food Department after he was elected from PK-38 Abbottabad in 2018 general election on PTI's ticket. He won MPA seat 4th times due to record development work and selfless service to masses. He was Minister for Food in previous Govt of PTI. Lodhi was born on 19th March 1944. He is a graduate.

Provincial Minister for Local Government, Shahram Tarkai has been elected from PK-47 Swabi-5 twice. In previous PTI Govt, ShahramTarakai served as Minister for Health and Information Technology. Tarkai has done his Graduation from bond University Australia.

Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra won MPA seat from PK-73 Peshawar in 2018 election. He was born in November 11, 1977. Jhagra is a foreign qualified and completed his degree in business Administration from London Business school. He is one of the team members who have formed PTI government's 100 days plan.

Health Minister KP Dr. Hisham Inamullah Khan was elected for the first time from PK-92 Lakki Marwat on the ticket of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf. Inamullah Khan is a medical graduate in Dentistry by profession.

Minister for Forests, Syed Ishtiaq Urmar has been elected for the second time from PK-69 Peshawar in general elections 2018. He served as Minister for Forest and Environment in previous Government of PTI and earned great respect after successful completion of gigantic Billions Trees Project in KP during Pervez Khattak's Govt.

Provincial Minister for Revenue Shakeel Ahmed has been elected as member of Provincial Assembly twice from PK-18 Malakand. In previous Govt of PTI, he served his duties as Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Populations Affairs.

Provincial Minister for Law, Sultan Muhammad Khan has been elected twice from PK-58 Charsadda on the ticket of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf.

Provincial Minister Akbar Ayub Khan elected from PK-40 Haripur for the second time on the ticket of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf. He was born on August 17, 1971 in Haripur. He performed Advisor to Chief Minister for Communication and Works. The portfolio of Akbar Ayub would be announced later.

Provincial Minister for Mines and Mineral Development Dr. Amjad Ali has been elected twice from PK-6 Swat. He served as Special Assistant to CM for Housing in previous Govt of PTI. He was born on 14th October 1973 in Swat and is a doctor by profession.
