Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan has won PS-124 with 26162 votes.
Karachi Central (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan has won PS-124 with 26162 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate won in PS-124 Karachi Central-II constituency with 26162 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Syed Sardar Ahmed was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 96500 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Raja Azhar Khan who got 7008 votes.
At least 9 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-124. In 2013 elections, there were 178471 voters registered in PS-124, out of which 111803 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 62.64 %. Detailed results can be found here
