KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2017 ) - The pakistan stock exchange marked the beginning of current week on a positive note as its benchmark KSE-100 index closed at 51,373.51 points on Monday.
Analysts attributed the 631.48 points gain over the previous trading session to pre-budget speculation in steel and cement sectors alongwith surge in textile exports of the country. In reply to a question, they agreed that development in context of CPEC projects and economic growth on One Belt One Road initiatives may also have added to the current positivity.
Rising oil prices in the global market was also said to have its impact during the day long trading exercise in psx.
