Imran Khan and Pervez Khattak had used inappropriate language for rival parties last week.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Pervez Khattak have been advised to soften their tone before the general elections.
According to media reports, PTI’s think tank has suggested the leadership to soften their tone till elections and to implement this discipline at the provincial and divisional level.
Imran Khan and Pervez Khattak had used inappropriate language for rival parties last week. This has made the party to adopt a defensive position while causing problems internally as well. The PTI leaders are not being able to defend it on media while it has given an opportunity to the opponents to do propaganda over it.
According to PTI’s think tank, the leadership has been advised to review its behavior and also consider the advice of some influential people in the party.
Imran Khan had termed the PMLN workers as ‘donkeys while’ Pervez Khattak, followed in the foot-steps of his leader, declared houses with PPP's flags ‘prostitute's house’.
The opponents and citizens have expressed reservations over these statements as they are being widely condemned on mainstream media and social media.
