Punjab Healthcare Commission closes down 28 quackery centres

The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) has closed down 28 businesses of quacks.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Jan, 2019 ) :The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) has closed down 28 businesses of quacks.

During the two days action, the PHC teams visited 197 treatment centres in different areas of Punjab, where 28 quackery centres were closed down.

These centres include six in Sahiwal, five Dera Ghazi Khan, four in Toba Tek Singh, three each in Multan, Gujrat, Sargodha and Pattoki.

A follow-up visit to some quackery centres showed thatother businesses had been launched in 85 shops.
