Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) Headquarters has released law and order statistics for its Kasur project for the month of September.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) Headquarters has released law and order statistics for its Kasur project for the month of September.
Kasur's Operations Monitoring Center (OMC) secured more than 1,668 observations that warranted interception of more than 435 suspicious persons and screening of 383 vehicles by Mohafiz Force. As many as 112 of such vehicles were detained for further investigation.
The OMC employs state-of-the-art CCTV Surveillance Operations through the geo-strategic grid of cameras within the city.
On violations of traffic laws and felonies of wrong parking 439 tickets were issued in the month of September and 267 Warning Notices were issued to violators. During the past month PSCA Kasur's Emergency Helpline 15 received 35,890 calls, of which, 33,929 were considered bogus.
Cases were generated for action on genuine calls that went up to 1,961 in number.
Kasur IC3 provided Electronic Evidence Data pertaining to 8 heinous crime cases and investigations to facilitate Punjab Police and other LEAs.
Furthermore, in coordination with Punjab Police and TMA, PSCA Kasur managed to foil 258 bids of illegal land grabbing and encroachments.
IC3 of PSCA Kasur have somewhat reformed emergency response time overall. A reduction of not less than 15 minutes in average response time carried out by Muhafiz Force, CTP and Punjab Police was ensured and observed. Average response time for Muhafiz Force remained 2-3 minutes whereas for Police Stations the same remained between 10 to 15 minutes.
