Special Price Control Magistrates have imposed a total fine of Rs 864,000 on profiteers in various parts of Faisalabad during the holy month of Ramadan
FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2018 ) :Special Price Control Magistrates have imposed a total fine of Rs 864,000 on profiteers in various parts of Faisalabad during the holy month of Ramadan.
A spokesman of the local administration said here Saturday that a vigorous campaign was launched against overcharging and profiteering and during this drive price control magistrates conducted surprise checking of prices and quality of the daily use commodities and imposed a total fine of Rs 864,000 on profiteering during Ramadan.
The price control magistrates also got registered cases against 59 shopkeepers on violation of Price Control Act, besides sealing their shop, spokesman added.
