Speaker KP Assembly Directs PESCO To Timely Complete Projects In Swabi

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Dec, 2017 ) :Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Asad Qaiser Friday chaired a high level meeting of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and directed to timely complete all power projects in district Swabi at earliest to provide relief to masses.
He asked PESCO officials to complete replace outdated cables, electric polls, transformers and work on important installations well before Summer seasons so that the people may not suffer due to power outage in Summer.
General Manager Technical Muhammad Amjad, PD Construction Habib, Xen Osman Akabar and SEs told the speaker about progress on Jalbai Mankai, Thandkoi, Zarobi feeders, low voltage from Bam Khel feeder and setting up of grid stations in Bajabamkhel and Chotta Lahore.
They told that all necessary equipments for Jalbai Mankai and Tordher feeders are being completed while on January 30, 2018 all the work would be completed. Regarding Thandkoi feeder, they said that work is in progress to reduce load on lines from the feeder, adding that by February 15, 2018 the job would be done.
They furthered that tender for Zarobi feeder is issued and work would start from January 30 next year. They said that Section-IV has been imposed for acquisition of land for Bajabamkhel grid station while Chota Lahore grid station is in final stage and to be completed soon.
