Summary Approved To Observe Health-Safety Day On Sept 11

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : Sindh Secretary of Labour Abdul Rasheed Solangi on Monday said that the Sindh Chief Minister has approved the summary to observe the Workers Health and Safety Day every year on September 11, from the next year.

He was speaking at National Labour Consultation, jointly organised by Sindh Labour Solidarity Committee, said a statement here.

He said Sindh is the first province which has passed a large number of labour laws after 18th Amendment.

Solangi pointed that Sindh Assembly has passed anti-bonded labour law, under which District Vigilance Committees have been notified in each district. Speaking on the occasion, senior labour leader Habibuddin Junaidi pointed out that trade unions need unity and the labour consultation is a step towards right direction.
