Syndicate Approves PU Budget For 2019-20

A meeting of Peshawar University (PU) Syndicate chaired by Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Asif Khan here gave an approval to Rs3,770 million annual budget of the university for year 2019-20.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2019 ) :A meeting of Peshawar University (PU) Syndicate chaired by Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Asif Khan here gave an approval to Rs3,770 million annual budget of the university for year 2019-20.

University Treasurer, Ayesha Salman while presenting the budget threw light on salient features of the university budget 2019-20.

The expenditures against the presented budget were Rs 4,078 million causing a deficit of Rs308 million, Ayesha said.

While, with addition of deficit of school expenditures, the total deficit would go up to 450 million rupees.The budget included expenditures of Rs 2,167million in salaries head while Rs 1,074-75 million would be spent on payments of pensions.

The syndicate also accorded approval to addressing some core issues of House Subsidy and Requisition allowance.
