This Constituency Of Lahore Gets One Federal, Two Provincial Ministers

PTI’s Shafqat Mehmood from NA-130 is the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training while Dr Murad Raas elected from PP-159 and Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed elected from PP-160 got provincial ministries.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 28th August, 2018) After the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) bagged majority in the general elections, it formed a government in centre and two provinces – Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
There is one constituency in Lahore whose elected members managed to get the federal and provincial ministries as well.
PTI’s Shafqat Mehmood elected from Lahore’s NA-130 is the Federal Minister for education and Professional Training while Dr Murad Raas elected from PP-159 and Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed elected from PP-160 got provincial ministries.
In the fresh Punjab cabinet, Dr Murad Raas has been appointed as Punjab Minister for school Education and Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed has been made the minister for Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering.
The people of the constituency are lucky enough to have three ministers and are now eyeing on them to fulfil their hopes.
PTI candidate Shafqat Mahmood had won election from National Assembly constituency NA-130 Lahore-VIII by securing 127,405 votes. According to official results announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan, Khawaja Ahmed Hassaan of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stood second by getting 104,625 votes.
Meanwhile, PTI candidate Murad Ross won PP-159 election with 55,128 votes while Mian Mahmood ur Rashed won in PP-160 with 63,059 votes.
