District administration Friday extended the clean and green campaign to canals and has banned the throwing of waste into calls in Peshawar

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2019 ) :District administration Friday extended the clean and green campaign to canals and has banned the throwing of waste into calls in Peshawar.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh along with District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Engineer Sher Dil Khan, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AC) Town-I IslahUd Din, Emergency Officer Arif Khan Marwat and Irrigation Officers initiated a special drive to clean all the canals in the city.

The DC has appealed the people to cooperate with the district administration and avoid throwing waste in canals.

He said that the people should cooperate in making the city a clean and green city.
