The district administration has urged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to withdraw the condition of ticket for spectators so that maximum citizens could watch 15th National T20 Cup, being played at Multan International Stadium.
According to district administration, Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz Malik phoned Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board and requested him to withdraw condition of ticket for National T20 Cup at Multan International Stadium. He said that PCB should launch campaign free of cost matches, so that maximum citizens from across south Punjab could watch the thrilling contests.
Almost all players of National Cricket Team are participating in the mega event. Mudassar Riaz Malik observed that local citizens remained deprived of watching national and international level events for many years and ticket-free facility would surely help attracting spectators in the match.
It is pertinent to mention here that a limited number ofcitizens were seen in the stadium during matches of T20 Cup.
