KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Oct, 2017 ) :The Founder and CEO, Strawberry Sports Management (SSM), Haider Ali Daud Khan Friday said that Classic Football League (CFL) is aimed at development of sports and players.

Addressing a media briefing, he said that the holding of CFL by the end of February 2018 will help harnessing from the grass roots the football talent and providing branding opportunities to all stakeholders of football and CFL.

The CFL will target the regional affinities of the football fans into building nursery and pool of talented football players who can potentially contribute towards supporting the national leagues, he added.

On the occasion CEO promised to be a galvanizing platform that shall create corporate and social synergy to support and promote national cause of highlighting Pakistan football talent at national and international levels.

The press conference was attended by cross section of the people including sports, arts and culture and corporate sector of Pakistan, General Secretary Sindh Olympic Association, Agha Khan Youth & Sports board for Pakistan, Sindh Football Association, international players of Pakistan, President and Secretary Referee Association Sindh, renowned coaches, representatives from the departments including NBP, KPT, K-Electric, HBL, PlA and renowned artists.

At the sidelines of the media briefing, teaser of Pakistan's first ever movie on football was also screened that was keenly watched by the participants. The CEO Daud Khan stressed that CFL will feed into the vision of international football community for game and club development.

The Secretary Sindh Football Association Rahim Baloch, affirmed their support for successful conduct of the event and hoped that this will become an excellent addition in the football events held in Pakistan.

Former Hockey Goalkeeper and Olympian Mansoor Ahmed. Director CFL Shahid Khokhar, President of Sindh Football Association, Syed Khadim Ali Shah and Founder and CEO Nutshell Azfar Ahsan were also presented. APP/fyk/msk
