Charsadda Stun Peshawar White In 13th KP NBP Inter-District Football

Charsadda stunned Peshawar White 5-4 on penalty shoot-out in a thrilling match of the ongoing 13th Khyber Pakhtunkhwa National Bank Inter-District Football Championship being played here at lush green Tehmas Khan Football Stadium on Friday.
Director Youth Aziz Ullah Jan was the chief guest on this occasion and before the start of the match the players of both Charsadda and Peshawar White were introduced to him. Organizing Secretary Basit Kamal, officials and large number of players were also present and witnessed the thrill-packed match.
The match was started on fast tempo and Charsadda took the lead in the 11th minute through field attempt. Owais Khan was the score who got the ball on the center-line through deep defender Haris and moved quickly toward the rival goal-post. By reaching at the 25-yard distance Owais kicked into the net desperately and guided his team Charsadda to take a vital lead.
Taking the lead, Charsadda kept up pressure to double the lead but they were not succeeded in despite dominating the first session.
Charsadda after taking lead got three easy chances but failed to double the lead and thus the first session ended at 1-0.
Peshawar White was not looked settle in the first session but despite conceding a goal it managed their position according to the situation and it was in the 52nd minute when Qasim found the equalizer through field attempt.
When both the teams were tied 1-1 they raided on each other defense time and again but failed to get any lead and thus the match was ended 1-1. To get certain result of the match both were awarded five each penalty kicks on which Peshawar White scored on four occasions while Charsadda missed two attempts and availed only three attempts. Thus Peshawar White won the match by 5-4.
Jalal missed the penalty for Peshawar while for Charsadda Sikander and Ibrar missed the target. The match was supervised by Allauddin while Delawar, Zakir supervised the match and Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah acted as match commissioner.
