Ben Stokes top-scored with 60, including 10 fours, after the Durham all-rounder had taken Test-best figures of six for 22 on Thursday.

Tailender Stuart Broad added a useful 38 before he was last man out.

Fast bowler Kemar Roach led West Indies' attack with five for 72 as he secured a coveted place on the Lord's honours board. West Indies captain Jason Holder, who dismissed Broad, took four for 54 in 13.5 overs.

James Anderson will start the West Indies second innings just one wicket away from becoming the first Englishman to take 500 Test wickets. This three-match series is level at 1-1.
