District Khyber Clinches Jujitsu Martial Art Trophy In Tribal District Games

Istrict Khyber clinched another title of winning the Jujitsu Martial Art title after grabbing five gold medals, South Waziristan with five silver medal and one bronze medal and Kurram with one silver five bronze medals got second and third position respectively at Jamrud Sports Complex, District Khyber on Monday
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2019 ) :District Khyber clinched another title of winning the Jujitsu Martial Art title after grabbing five gold medals, South Waziristan with five silver medal and one bronze medal and Kurram with one silver five bronze medals got second and third position respectively at Jamrud sports Complex, District Khyber on Monday.
Deputy Commissioner District Khyber Mehmood Aslam was the chief guest on this occasion and witnessed the fight before distribution ceremony of the Jujitsu and Female Games held at Girls College Jamrud. District Sports Officer Rahad Gul Mullah Gori, Assistant Director Female Games Nazia Zaki, Event Manager Ayub Khan, Principal Girls College Jamrud Abida Azeem, Assistant Information Officer Shehla Gul, Secretary General KP Jujitsu Association Tehseen Ullah Khan, Coach PAF Allah Gul Afridi, officials and players were also present.
For Khyber Din Muhammad, Zubair, Fazal Amin, Suleman and Ibrahim claimed gold medals while for Waziristan Asmat Ullah, Rizwan Ullah, Jaffar Khan, Babar and Aleem Gul took five silver medals and Javed won silver medal and Imtiaz, Sajid Ali, Khalid and Taimoor Shah grabbed bronze medals.
In the female events District Khyber got overall first position by securing 60, Mohmand got second position with 45 points while Reema of Khyber was declared as best athlete of the Games.
A total of 200 female players took part in five different games comprising athletics, badminton, table tennis, volleyball and tug of war wherein Khyber took first position. In the Volleyball Mohmand beat Khyber by 25-22, 25-21 and 25-20, in the badminton Khyber's Kalsoom, Rabia and Saba beat Manahil, Bushra and Benish of Mohmand in straight sets final.
In the Table Tennis final Sana, Reema and Fatima of Khyber beat Sidra, Muskan and Alishba in straight sets. In the athletic District Khyber claimed 32 points by taking first position, followed by Mohmand with 25 points. In the 100m Reema of Khyber won gold medal, followed by Sidra and Kalsoom of Mohmand, in the 200m Manahil of Mohmand got gold medal, followed by Reema of Khyber and Shazia of Bajaur. In the long jump Reema of Khyber won gold medal, followed by Sidra and Kalsoom, in the discus throw Reema won gold medal, followed by Saba and Rimsha.
