French Authorities Probing PSG-Red Star Champions League Game for Rigging - Reports

The French authorities launched an investigation after a signal from the UEFA that the October 3 Champions League game where French Paris Saint-Germain played Serbian Red Star Belgrade in Paris, might have been rigged, local media reported on Friday.

The UEFA was told a few days ahead of the game that one of the top managers of the Serbian club intended to bet almost 5 million Euros (roughly $5.8 million) on their team losing by five goals, according to L'Equipe outlet.
