One Match Decided In Servis Rugby League

Lahore Rugby Football Club outclassed Lahore Hawks by 27-05 to win an important encounter of the 6th Servis Tyres 15 side Rugby League Div I, here at Pakistan Rugby Academy Lahore Cantt
Chairmen PRU Fawzi Khawaja, Head Coach PRU Shakeel Ahmed Malik, PRU Rugby Services Manager Syed Mozzam Ali Shah and good number of spectators also witness the mega event match. Fawzi Khawja thanked President PRU Arif Saeed for his generous support for the promotion of Rugby.
Lahore Hakws player Afzal scored off a try in 29th minute. Before the end of first half in 40th min Rana Ali of LRFC scored off a try and match is equal by 5-5. The second half belong to LRFC which scored one goal off four tries . In 47th minute of match Shoaib of LRFC score his try with a very good run in the field.
In 58th min Waseem added another good try. In 64th min of the match Ali Shahid scored another goal on his team mate good pass. In the 85th minute of the match Shoaib again with a good run scored another try for his team which was converted by his team mate Waseem.
Fawzi Khawaja chairmen PRU speaking on the occasion highlighted the efforts being made by PRU for the development of the game.
"We have invitation to take part in international 15 side international events this year and we will generate a lot of activity to finds fresh talent to represent the country in the international events abroad," he said.
He said rugby is at a rise in the country and PRU has formed U16, U18, U20, U23 and girls and men teams.
