Pakistan Players Cause Major Upset In 2nd Round Matches

Pakistan players caused major upset in the second round matches of Serena Hotels Chief of the Air Staff International for Men and Pakistan International Squash Tournament for Women here at Mushaf Squash Complex.
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Sep, 2018 ) :Pakistan players caused major upset in the second round matches of Serena Hotels Chief of the Air Staff International for Men and Pakistan International Squash Tournament for Women here at Mushaf Squash Complex. In one of the major upsets of the Men event, World No 95 Tayyab Aslam of Pakistan defeated World No 49 Mohamed Reda from Egypt in a set of five games. Similarly, World No 88 Muhammad Asim Khan of Pakistan outclassed his opponent World No 42 Karim Al-Fathi also from Egypt in 5 games set. Whereas, World No 94 Farhan Mehboob from Pakistan could not move to the quarter finals due to head injury in second game and lost to 2nd seed of the tournament World No 41 Nafizwan Adnan from Malaysia. The quarter finals of tournaments will be played on Tuesday (September 12).
