Rangers Organize Inter-district Boxing Championship

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2023 ) :The Pakistan Rangers Sindh in collaboration with Karachi Division Boxing Association on Thursday organized an Inter-District Boxing Championship at Haji Abubakar Trunkwala Boxing Arena People's Football Stadium Lyari.

91 male and female boxers from 7 districts of Karachi participated in the 4-day long championship, said a news release issued here.

Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Major General Azhar Waqas was the chief guest of the concluding ceremony.

Prominent personalities from various schools of thought and walks of life, civil, social, business community and sports, and senior officers of police and Rangers attended the concluding ceremony of the event.

In all competitions of the Inter-District Boxing Championship, the team of Karachi South won the first position overall, followed by Karachi West and the third position by Karachi District Malir. The chief guest distributed the prizes and medals among the position holders.
